【JO1・Mamehara Issei】The young center talks about his memory during the training camp in Korea ♡

What do you think is your role in the group？

A. Ren-kun is considered as the dance leader. I have also been dancing for a long time, so I want to support the group in terms of dance. In addition to that, during the show, I was often called as "Nation's youth" or "Nation's first love". I am also the youngest member so I want to do my best and become that character.

During『PRODUCE 101 JAPAN』which performance has left the biggest impression on you？

A. FIRE. It was the first song that I became a center; it was the performance in which I felt both pressure and desire to become 1st.

Was there a song during the concept battle that you wanted to do？

A. Yancha BOY Yancha GIRL. I did cool songs like "DNA", "FIRE", "DOMINO" and "GrandMaster" so I want to try something cute.

When the program was aired, what was the most memorable thing your fans did to support you?

My hometown is in Okayama and there were fans who went to Okayama station just to promote. I also saw some in Tokyo but I was very thankful that there are also some in my hometown.

Tell us about a memory during your training camp in Korea！

It was my first time to properly sing in『PRODUCE 101 JAPAN』therefore I researched on how to sing during the training camp in Korea. But when we recorded Running（Limited Edition A）it was very difficult that I was unable to sing and so I felt very frustrated. I could sing before I entered the recording booth but the moment I entered, I wasn't able to. It left a big impression on me on how we had a 2nd recording.

The youngest in the group. His innocent image earned him the title as "Nation's first love" during the program's broadcast. He is skilled at dancing HIP HOP that he has experience working as an instructor.
